The Hawks crushed the Bears 5-2

The Hawkesbury Hawks' offense had a big night, peppering the Smiths Falls Bears with 28 shots throughout the game. The Hawkesbury Hawks took the lead early in the third on a goal from Patrick Callahan.

Jeremie Lavallee chipped in with 2 goals and Fletcher Anderson had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first, Lavallee opened the scoring for the Hawks with a goal at 17:44 with a helper from his teammate Anderson.

In the second, Fournier netted a goal at 0:41 with assists from his linemates, Grainger and Duchesne.

During the third period, Callahan deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 1:00 with a helper from Marleau. Lavallee quickly followed with a goal at 1:52 with an assist from Grainger. Church finally put the Bears on the board with a goal at 6:19. Dicarlo quickly followed with a goal at 8:08 with helpers from his linemates, Todd and Warywoda. Anderson answered for the Hawks with a goal at 16:01 with assists from Cote and Nantais.

Hawkesbury’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Stofcheck as he stopped 16 of the 18 shots he faced. On the other hand, Stofcheck’s counterpart, Dobson, and Smiths Falls’ defense had a miserable night stopping only 23 of 28 shots.

This win brings the Hawkesbury Hawks’ record to (3-0-0-0).
