The Hawks shutout the Grads 4-0

The Hawkesbury Hawks' offense had a big night, peppering the Navan Grads with 25 shots throughout the game, to go along with Nick Stofcheck's shutout. The Hawkesbury Hawks took the lead early in the second on a goal from Matt Gasuik.

Patrick Callahan did his part, adding 2 goals and Yanic Crete contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the second, Gasuik opened the scoring for the Hawks with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 1:21 with helpers from his linemates, Crete and Taillon. Callahan put in a goal at 6:03 with assists from his linemates, Lavallee and Cote. Callahan deposited a goal at 17:04 with a helper from defenseman Guillemette. Crete quickly followed with a goal at 18:24 with assists from teammates Marleau and Tierney.

Hawkesbury’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Stofcheck’s shutout, as he stopped all 24 of the shots he faced. On the other hand, Stofcheck’s counterpart, Wisco, and Navan’s defense had some trouble stopping only 21 of 25 shots.

This win brings the Hawkesbury Hawks’ record to (7-2-0-0).
