The Hawks are proud to announce that Marc Bernique has accepted to take on the role of General Manager of the Hawkesbury Hawks.
Marc served as the assistant GM, as well as an assistant coach for the past few seasons, and now has the opportunity to build the Flock in his vision.
Marc was quoted as saying, “I am very excited to be the new GM for the Hawks, I will have big shoes to fill in replacing Rick. Having worked closely with Rick in the past 5 years, I have learned a lot and hopefully this transition will be seamless. I wish the best to Rick in his new position and I look forward to the challenge of keeping the Hawks competitive.”
Marc already has experience building a competitive team, having been a part of the Vankleek Hill Cougars organization as their GM, and the Hawks have no doubt that he is the right man for the job.
