The Hawks struggled against the Junior Senators 6-2 in home game

The Hawkesbury Hawks' defense had a poor night, allowing the Ottawa Junior Senators 31 shots throughout the game. The Ottawa Junior Senators took the lead early in the first on a goal from Finn Evans and never looked back.

Kieran Craig delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Finn Evans had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Darcy Walsh chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first, Boulerice opened the scoring for Ottawa with a goal at 0:50 with helpers from his teammates Salloum and Evans. Mcgregor deposited a goal at 4:31 with helpers from Smart and Bisson. Evans quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 4:42 with assists from Alexander and Walsh. Craig finally put Hawkesbury on the board with a goal at 18:31 with helpers from his linemates, Anderson and Jankowski.

In the second period, Walsh answered for Ottawa with a goal at 12:28 with assists from Salloum and Veillette. Lalonde quickly followed with a goal at 14:05 with a helper from fellow Junior Senators forward Guy.

In the third, Morin deposited a goal at 8:20 with an assist from Pion. Lavoie answered for Hawkesbury with a goal at 13:45 with helpers from Beaudin-Tougas and Craig.

This loss brings the Hawkesbury Hawks’ record to (32-18-0-2).
