The Hawks making some waves and sign a young gun with a familiar name

The Hawks have made it official and have signed Dovar Tinling, younger brother of Azzaro Tinling (Committed to Vermont NCAA) who will also be returning to the team.

When the puck touches Dovar’s stick, magic happens. He racked up 42 pts in 29 games in the regular season and 16 pts in 15 games in the playoffs for the Lac St-Louis Lions of the QMAAA. Dovar was a 3rd rounder (41st overall) For the Shawinigan Cataractes of the QMJHL. He also attended Team Canada U17 development camp this summer.

Hawks GM and Head coach “It’s not every season you get an opportunity to coach a player of this skill set. I feel that Dovar could have easily been a first rounder in the QMJHL draft if he hadn’t declared his intention to pursue the NCAA. We are excited to add this talented player to our line up. Dovar is a dynamic forward with great speed and isn’t afraid to make plays.  .”

Dovar is 5’11” 180lbs left shot forward. For more of his stats click here.

Welcome to the flock Dovar
