The Hawks fall to the Lasers 4-2

Matthew Petizian came up big, stopping 33 of 37 shots throughout the game. The Kanata Lasers took the lead early in the third on a goal from Liam Markhauser.

Liam Markhauser delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Jack Quinn had a busy night with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the second period, Sleeth opened the scoring for Kanata with a goal at 9:55 with helpers from Schroeder and Beaudry. Elia finally put the Hawks on the board with a goal at 17:46 with helpers from teammates Anderson and Craig.

In the third, Quinn answered for the Lasers with a goal at 2:46 with assists from Markhauser and Bunka. Markhauser quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 4:32 with a helper from Poeze. Stockdale deposited a goal at 9:39 with an assist from his linemate Quinn. Jankowski answered for Hawkesbury with a goal at 15:18 with helpers from his linemates, Beaudin-Tougas and Smith.

This loss brings the Hawkesbury Hawks’ record to (14-8-0-0).
