The Hawks fall to the Canadians 3-2

The Hawkesbury Hawks' defense had a poor night, allowing the Carleton Place Canadians 31 shots throughout the game. The Carleton Place Canadians took the lead late in the third on a goal from Joshua Gagne.

Alec Taillon delivered for his team with 2 goals and Tyler Boivin contributed with 2 assists. Zachary Tupker had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first, Taillon opened the scoring for Hawkesbury with a goal at 16:26 with helpers from his teammates Boivin and Besner.

During the third period, Taillon deposited a goal at 1:52 with helpers from his linemates, Boivin and Marleau. Knoblauch finally put the Canadians on the board with a goal at 5:44 with assists from Theocharidis and Tupker. Tupker scored a goal at 10:55 with helpers from Tupker and Girduckis. Gagne netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 15:10 with an assist from his defensive partner, Tooke.
