The Hawks crushed the Raiders 4-1

Matthew Petizian came up big, stopping 26 of 27 shots throughout the game. The Hawkesbury Hawks took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Yanic Crete.

Nicolas Elia chipped in with 2 assists.

During the first, Anderson opened the scoring for Hawkesbury with a goal at 11:21 with helpers from teammates Camp and Elia.

In the second, Dempster answered for the Raiders with a goal at 4:44 with an assist from defenseman Winn. Crete quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 6:26 with helpers from his linemates, Gasuik and Taillon. Marleau put in a goal at 16:26 with assists from Elia and Lavallee. Fournier quickly followed with a goal at 18:25.

The Hawks’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Petizian’s big night as he stopped 26 of the 27 shots he faced. Petizian’s counterpart, Bateman, also had a big night, managing to stop 47 of 51, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Hawkesbury Hawks’ record to (10-2-0-0).
