The Hawks crushed the Lasers 4-1

The Hawkesbury Hawks' offense had a big night, peppering the Kanata Lasers with 32 shots throughout the game. The Hawkesbury Hawks took the lead late in the first on a goal from Fletcher Anderson and never looked back.

Alec Beaudin-Tougas chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Nicolas Elia delivered for his team with 3 assists.

During the first, Jankowski opened the scoring for Hawkesbury with a goal at 7:21 with helpers from teammates Stevens and Cote. Anderson netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 17:38 with helpers from Elia and Taillon.

In the second period, Marleau put in a goal at 4:23 with assists from Elia and Beaudin-Tougas.

During the third, Beaudin-Tougas deposited a goal at 18:00 with helpers from Elia and Gasuik. Beaudry quickly followed with a goal at 19:57 with assists from Rider and Ulanov.

The Hawks’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Petizian’s big night as he stopped 41 of the 42 shots he faced. Petizian’s counterpart, Carriere, also had a big night, managing to stop 28 of 32, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Hawkesbury Hawks’ record to (29-16-0-1).
