The Hawks crushed the Junior Senators 7-3

The Hawkesbury Hawks' offense had a big night, peppering the Ottawa Junior Senators with 48 shots throughout the game. The Hawkesbury Hawks took the lead late in the second on a goal from Fletcher Anderson.

Alec Beaudin-Tougas chipped in with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Mike Nantais did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first, Beaudin-Tougas opened the scoring for Hawkesbury with a goal at 1:04 with helpers from Marleau and Nantais. Walsh answered for the Junior Senators with a goal at 11:20 with a helper from defenseman White.

In the second, Jankowski answered for the Hawks with a goal at 2:38 with assists from Beaudin-Tougas and Kuhl. Tarbell netted a goal at 10:19 with helpers from teammates Guillemette and Jankowski. Anderson scored what turned out to be the game winning goal at 19:32 with assists from Boivin and Johnson.

During the third period, Beaudin-Tougas deposited a goal at 3:47 with helpers from Gasuik and Kuhl. Nantais netted a goal at 6:41 with assists from Jankowski and Petizian. Veillette quickly followed with a goal at 7:20 with helpers from his linemates, Blacksmith and Guy. Filoso put in a goal at 17:29 with an assist from Drouin. Craig quickly followed with a goal at 17:35.

The Hawks’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Petizian’s big night as he stopped 40 of the 43 shots he faced. Petizian’s counterpart, Hicks, also had a big night, managing to stop 41 of 48, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Hawkesbury Hawks’ record to (13-6-0-0).
