The Hawks crushed the Grads 4-1

The Hawkesbury Hawks' offense had a big night, peppering the Navan Grads with 48 shots throughout the game. The Hawkesbury Hawks took the lead late in the first on a goal from Colin Stevens and never looked back.

Xavier Leveille chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Alec Taillon contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Smith opened the scoring for the Hawks with a goal at 7:10 with helpers from his teammates Jankowski and Guillemette. Chartrand quickly followed with a goal at 7:34 with helpers from Jurgeneit and Smith. Stevens answered for Hawkesbury with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 19:27 with assists from Nantais and Belec.

During the third period, Taillon deposited a goal at 2:18 with assists from Lavoie and Leveille. Leveille scored a goal at 11:05 with a helper from fellow Hawks forward Taillon.

Hawkesbury’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Brooks as he stopped 20 of the 21 shots he faced. Brooks’ counterpart, Giacobbo, also had a big night, managing to stop 44 of 48, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Hawkesbury Hawks’ record to (31-16-0-1).
