Hawks Migrate South to Host Carleton Place on Sept. 29th at 8 PM

Since Friday, September 15th, 2017, the Robert Hartley Sports Complex has been experiencing issues with fog on the ice, due in large part to a defective humidification system. This issue has caused numerous issues, including the cancellation of local minor hockey try-outs, as well as 2 Hawkesbury Hawks home games.

As a result, until air quality tests are performed at the Hartley Complex after the repairs have been completed, the Hawks have migrated south to Glengarry Arena, and will host the Carleton Place Canadians there on Friday, September 29th at 8 PM.

Local hockey fans, who get their fill of Junior Hockey thanks to the Alexandria Glens of the CCHL2, will have a unique opportunity to see Junior A hockey in their hometown. And given the visit of the defending Bogart Cup champion Canadians, fans will be in for a treat.

The Hawks would like to apologize to our local fanbase for the inconvenience this temporary move may cause, but rest assureed, with the help of the municipality, we will be back at the Hawks’ Nest in no time.
