The Hawks struggled against the Raiders 6-1 in home game

The Hawkesbury Hawks' defense had a poor night, allowing the Nepean Raiders 40 shots throughout the game. The Nepean Raiders took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Geoff Dempster.

Noah Rowe contributed with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Ryan Horvath did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Gauthier opened the scoring for Nepean with a goal at 14:13 with helpers from his teammates Bourhas and Browning.

In the second, Anderson answered for the Hawks with a goal at 6:49 with helpers from Stevens and Beaudin-Tougas. Dempster answered for the Raiders with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 9:42 with an assist from Denomme. Rowe quickly followed with a goal at 11:35 with assists from Buckley and Horvath. Horvath quickly followed with a goal at 13:29 with helpers from Stagg and Rowe.

During the third, Stagg netted a goal at 7:11 with assists from Browning and Tam. Donovan scored a goal at 11:06 with helpers from Denomme and Rowe.

This loss brings the Hawkesbury Hawks’ record to (33-19-0-2).
