The Hawks struggled against the 73's 5-2 in home game

The Hawkesbury Hawks' defense had a poor night, allowing the Kemptville 73's 49 shots throughout the game. The Kemptville 73's took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Cole Dennison.

Chris Smith did his part, adding 2 goals. Cole Dennison chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Ashton Fry “a” delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first period, Fry “a” opened the scoring for the 73’s with a goal at 0:12 with helpers from his teammates Hunter “c” and Meyer. Titus quickly followed with a goal at 1:56 with helpers from Domitrovic and Bondy. Smith quickly followed with a goal at 2:55 with assists from his linemates, Anderson and Beaudin-Tougas.

During the second period, Dennison answered for the 73’s with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 11:02 with assists from Beaton and Fraser. Thousand put in a goal at 16:27 with helpers from Fry “a” and Hunter “c”. Daskas quickly followed with a goal at 17:41 with assists from Dennison and Fraser.

In the third, Smith answered for Hawkesbury with a goal at 8:41 with helpers from Elia and Jankowski.

This loss brings the Hawkesbury Hawks’ record to (36-23-0-3).
