The Hawks fall to the Junior Senators 2-1

Matthew Petizian came up big, stopping 26 of 28 shots throughout the game. The Ottawa Junior Senators took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Elie Boulerice.

In the first, Fournier opened the scoring for the Hawks with a goal at 4:53 with an assist from his linemate Jankowski. Veillette answered for Ottawa with a goal at 10:14 with a helper from his teammate Blacksmith.

In the second period, Boulerice netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 7:47 with assists from his linemates, Walsh and Smart.

This loss brings the Hawkesbury Hawks’ record to (4-3-0-0).
