The Hawks fall to the Canadians 2-1

Matthew Petizian came up big, stopping 20 of 22 shots throughout the game. The Carleton Place Canadians took the lead early in the third on a goal from Ben Tupker.

Zachary Tupker did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the second, Tupker opened the scoring for the Canadians with a goal at 2:54 with a helper from defenseman Townend. Gasuik answered for Hawkesbury with a goal at 8:02 with assists from Johnson and Duchesne.

During the third period, Tupker answered for Carleton Place with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:50 with helpers from teammates Tupker and Theocharidis.

This loss brings the Hawkesbury Hawks’ record to (2-4-0-0).
