| MATT BEER TRADED TO THE BLIND RIVER BEAVERS OF THE NOPJHL |

The Hawkesbury Hawks have traded forward Matt Beer to the Blind River Beavers of the NOPJHL. In return, the Hawks have received 19 year old centreman Tyler Stoller (9G-8A in 24 games) and 18 year old right winger Josh Nardella (7G-8A in 24 games). Stoller hails from Wisconsin and played with the Milwaukee Admirals Midget AAA program last season. Chicago native Nardella skated with the Chicago Young Americans at the same level. The Hawks organization welcomes Josh and Tyler to the team and wishes Matt the best of luck with the Beavers. |

| HAWKS MOVE HOUSE TO JUNIOR SENS |

The Hawks have traded centerman Joey House to the Ottawa Jr Sens exchange for a conditional 1st round pick in the 2012 CHL Draft and a player development fee. Last season with the Hawks, House scored 16 goals and recorded 15 assists for 31 points in 59 games. In 19 games this season, he notched 5 points on 2 goals and 3 assists. The Hawks organization wishes Joey the best of luck with his new team.

The Hawkesbury Hawks have completed a trade with the Trenton Golden Hawks of the OJHL, sending 20 year old right winger Joel Senecal to the team in exchange for a player development fee. Senecal registered a goal and two assists in two games this season with Hawkesbury. The Hawks organization wishes Joel the best of luck with his new team. |

| SEBASTIAN MELTZER OBTAINED FROM THE COLTS |

The Hawkesbury Hawks have completed a transaction with the Cornwall Colts, bringing power forward Sebastian Meltzer to the team in exchange for a first and fifth round selection in the 2011 league draft. Meltzer is a 19 year old, right handed center from Montreal, QC who had 11 goals and 13 assists in 57 games last year with the Colts. At 5’10’’ and 185 lbs, the Hawks organization feels that he brings added muscle down the middle and have an immediate positive impact on the team. |

| HAWKS ACTIVE AT 2010 TRADE DEADLINE |

The Hawkesbury Hawks were involved in three trades on Sunday. To start off, the organization sent forward Joel Sénécal to the Ottawa Senators along with a second round draft pick in exchange for forward Ronnie Brohman and future considerations. The transaction was followed by Captain Vince Perreault's move to the Kemptville 73's along with a third round draft pick in exchange for a first round pick in 2010. Finally, in a three way trade, the Hawks sent defensemen Jonatan Burroughs and Sébastien Dubus to Pembroke with a third round pick in 2011 in exchange for defensemen Craig Myeroff and Jeremy Melbye. The Hawks also received the Lumber Kings first choice in the 2010 draft. The Lumber Kings immediately sent Burroughs and Dubus to the Cumberland Grads to obtain the services of big bodied defenceman Stephen Farrell. The new players will be in uniform Tuesday evening when the Hawks visit the Kemptville 73's. The Hawks welcome Ronnie, Craig and Jeremy to the organization and wish the best of luck to Joel, Jonatan, Vince and Sébastien. |
