Julien Cossette was a prolific scorer during his year with the Hawks in 1976-77.  A member of a high producing line made up of Richard Duguay and Walter Dubas, Julien scored 62 goals and 43 assists in only 47 games.  Julien enjoyed physical play and never backed down from anyone as illustrated by his 228 penalty minutes that season.

Now a resident of Repentigny, QC, Julien is married with two grown boys.  He works as a security controler for a nickel mining company in Nunavik.  In a recent discussion, Julien expresse his fond memories of his season in Hawkesbury. «  The fans were great in what is a true hockey town.  The arena was always full.  Hawkesbury residents were great and the fans were always ready to support the team » he said.
